If you’re looking for dream pop with a punchy attitude you’ve come to the right place. As today is the latest release by songwriter / producer Ellie Knight. 

Ellie credits some of her biggest inspirations as Charli XCX, Dua Lipa and Years & Years. Her previous release LoveSick can be described as dreamy and melancholic whereas Ellie’s second song, “Work for It” is a feisty, empowering track.

‘Better Things’ is heavily influenced by the genre of synth-pop. While Ellie’s unapologetic British accent resembles the likes of Kate Nash.

When speaking of the track Ellie states: “This song was written minutes after sending a final message,ending a relationship which never quite came to be. After feeling down and wishing it wasn’t over I realised I shouldn’t be sad. If didn’t work out, better things must be coming!
