Kitty Perrin has recently released her incredible debut EP Stick It Out and if you haven’t already had a listen I highly recommend checking this one out. 

Stick It Out showcases Kitty’s blunt and honest style of lyricism that she does remarkably well. Citing the likes of Lily Allen and Kate Nash and SELF ESTEEM as a few of her biggest influences it’s clear that these inspirations have poured into Kitty’s own lyrical style. 

Kitty maintains a conversational tone with her listeners building a relationship between audience and artist. Letting the listener in on her life experiences, messages of hope, defiance and acceptance are all themes that Kitty carries through this stunning EP. 

Confessions of disliked personality traits are exposed in one of the songs. Others tackle darker themes of abusive relationships and how to come out the other side of them stronger, finding solace in acceptance and being able to find positivity even in the darkest of times.
