‘Gifted’ is a folk-kissed indie-rock track that embodies an uplifting, anthemic sound encouraging listeners to give themselves the grace to fully appreciate the scope of their lived experience for better or worse, regardless of others’ expectations they might carry. Her gentle-yet-expressive vocals and poignant lyricism can be felt as an assurance that everything is, and will be okay; it’s okay to not be perfect all the time.
